Marble, as you might know, is a form of Limestone, a rather soft material by comparsion to other stone. Marble can be polished to even a fine finish using abrasive papers. Make sure the marble has been sealed recently. Also, never use any kind of soap or cleaning product.


After wiping the counter off, use a dry cloth to get the water up. Also, might check to see how hard the water is. Buff it out with a high speed buffer attachment for a power drill. Shining the entire top with car wax works well to conceal them too.
