How to finish tile edges

Shopping for tiles to create a beautiful space is fun. Today, there is an endless supply of natural stone, mosaics, glass, and porcelains tile available on the market. The are several types of wood counter edges. One other possibility is the metal. I tile every day of my life and probably would use another form of transition, or at least an additional one given that the tile floor will need a different level of care that the wood floor.
