Giani isn’t limited to countertops, you can use Giani on many surfaces to create a granite look. We had to go searching high and low for it, but later I found that you can buy it from Amazon. But this is not for sinks, tubs, flooring or shower floors. Searching for an inexpensive solution I saw a promotional video on Giani countertop paint which said it could transform your dull laminate countertop into a faux granite finish.


First I thought– how would the paint ever stick to laminate and I bet that it looks like paint too. Disclosure: I was not compensated for this review. I did receive a free product to review in order to form my own opinions. Giani ’s clear topcoat locks out moisture to keep your counters looking cleaner, longer. You can use this product on more than just counters.


I watched the “how-to” video times through before I started. I also watched videos on “veining” and how to make the paint look realistic, as actual granite is not uniform. To be fair, we haven’t had a chance to use that kit yet. We don’t have a big countertop.


All five countertop paint products are highly recommended. One countertop looks great, but the painter used a different sponge on the second countertop, and it looks awful. It is fun and easy to apply and will give your kitchen or bathroom a complete makeover without breaking the bank. The Giani kits sell for just $69. All of the review is my own true opinions.

Go ahead and find your favorites from array of qualified products. I decided on Bombay Black for the countertop color. We have decided to use the Giani system rather than the Spreadstone or the Rustoleum methods.


The benefit to Giani is that if there is damage, you can easily fix it!
